"Always challenge your bone and your muscle strength. If you're not progressing, you're regressing." -Dr. Sherri Betz
Dr. Sherri Betz is a physical therapist and Pilates teacher specializing in osteoporosis, geriatric orthopedics, and mind-body exercise applications for rehabilitation. She is the director of TheraPilates® Physical Therapy Clinics in Santa Cruz, CA and Monroe, LA. She is a frequent international conference presenter and hosts streaming lectures, bone-safe movement classes, and webinars. I have known Sherri for many years and she is the person who teaches the physical therapists, doctors, and health care practitioners about the importance of exercise and osteoporosis and has increased the awareness of safe, effective exercises throughout the world.
In today’s episode, Sherri talks about and demonstrates safe bone-building exercises you can do at home. She also shows you how you can use simple household items instead of buying expensive equipment.
