Joan Pagano is a fitness expert, author of internationally published fitness books, and owner of Joan Pagano Fitness in New York City. She has worked as a personal fitness trainer on Manhattan’s Upper East Side since 1988, providing professional guidance and support to people at all levels of fitness.

Joan has created hundreds of training programs specially tailored for individuals, groups, fitness facilities, schools, hospitals, and corporations through her work. She is certified as an Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine, serves on the Ambassadors Leadership Council of the National Osteoporosis Foundation and is the proud finisher of seven marathons.
